Ekua has been celebrated for her unique ability to transform ordinary spaces into lush, theatrical environments. This has helped to establish her as the premier event designer for client that includes discerning brides,celebrities, CEO’s and athletes. Since the inception of her business in 1999 Ekua has been sought out to create one-of-a-kind, transformative designs that serve as backdrops for some of the most memorable moments of her clients’ lives.
A designer with a passion for creating designs to be enjoyed by the public as well as her clients, she has created a number of art installations which featured across Canada, USA and Africa. This passion also translated into her tabletop linen collection, a huge inventory of event rental items, a collaborative effort with Her life partner Benjamin Ampong.
